Snap and Button
I like snaps, but sadly (in my opinion) I only own two shirts that have snaps. I wish I owned more, but in general I have had a difficult time finding shirts with snaps. Is Snap just not that loved? Indeed he seems to be overshadowed by his older more conservative brother Button. But let’s be honest here people, we all know that Snap is the cool bad ass of clothing fastening devices. Hell if you had to choose to go to a party with either Button or Snap I’m pretty sure you’d want to choose Snap. I mean Button would be classy but he’d probably just go on and on about something he read in The Wall Street Journal that morning. Now if you’re rolling with Snap you’ll likely be hammered drunk in no times, and that dude always gets chicks. But in the long run Snap is just a little to wild for contemporary society. Sure he has found a nitch in cowboyness (and cowgirlness), and the musician (especially rock) is never hurt by his presence, but business casual seems to tend to frown on Snap’s wild antics and other associations (Snap has had a long run in the porn world and in many a steamy scene in films and television). Alas Button just tends to be a more trustworthy guy who, while not quite as fun, probably won’t be thrown out of the bar. But I have to say you get my two thumbs up Snap ol’ buddy, you sure kick some serious ass.
