The Auto Flusher in the bathroom creeps me out
All the toilets in the library are the automatic flushing kind (likewise the sinks and hand dryers have automatic sensors too). For the toilets the sensor that activates the flush is a little red light behind the toilet and at the urinals it is almost exactly at eye level. Every time I go to take a piss I find myself thinking of 2001: A Space Odyssey. I keep expecting to hear a creepy Hal voice say something like “HELLO, NATHANIEL, HOW ARE YOU TODAY . . . I AM AFRAID I CANNOT DO THAT DAVE.” That would probably make me piss myself, which I guess wouldn’t be that big a problem seeing as I’d be at the urinal. Creepy ass super computer auto flushing systems.
A talking urinal (or toilet) with HAL’s voice would be pretty kickass.
