Google Maps and the physically impossible
Sometimes when I’m feeling kind of bored I like just looking around on Google Maps. Occasionally if you are looking carefully at something like cities you’ll find areas that look almost physically impossible such as this image of two skyscrapers in Seattle Washington
Notice how the buildings seem to be leaning into each other. Obviously they are not doing this but the way that Google Maps has constructed the birds eye image (I’m guessing by putting several images together to form a larger picture) creates this effect. It is just kind of fun to look at these peculiarities.
