General Lordisimo’s Apocalypse

Look at all those fun roots and bulbs; carrots, potatoes, sweet potato, parsnips, turnips, rutabega, beets, onion, fennel bulb, and garlic

The other night (that nigh which was Tuesday’s) I made this crazy root soup with all the vegetables above.  It was an entire experiment which did not fail but was a strange kind of success (left me with a lot of ideas for future soups).  Anyhow I just like the picture of all those veggies above.  They are all really cool looking.

Note: If you cook with beets everything will turn red . . . EVERYTHING!  Hence the soup coming out looking like this:
